Since the Motobecane is belt driven I am fortunate enough to ride the Magnum this winter. It's internal chain drive won't slip in the the wettest or coldest of conditions allowing me to get back and forth to school and work. In the month of Nov. I struggled to get the Motobecane started and it was constantly slipping, but now I won't have that problem. The Magnum is kitted with a 70cc cylinder and 15mm carb. As it sits in this photo is tops around 35 with mediocre torque. I am currently fine tuning and hope to achieve low 40's with awesome torque before summer. What it needs is a better performance pipe and some clutch work.
